Planned Improvements

The $1 million in improvements planned for 2016 and 2017 include all new children's playground equipment, totaling $250,000:
  • Addition of an inviting park entrance
  • Concession stand
  • Expansion of the walking path
  • New pavilions
  • Restrooms

Cooperative Endeavor Agreement

Park improvements were designed and paid for by the City of Plaquemine. Iberville Parish Parks and Recreation District maintains and operates the site, as part of a Co-Operative Endeavor Agreement.
