Iberville business and industry has combined forces with the Iberville School System to provide work training and experiences for high school students. Additionally, a variety of training programs is offered for adults, thus providing a strong, trained workforce.

These programs include automotive technology, aviation maintenance technology, diesel powered equipment technology, electromechanical technology, industrial maintenance technology, pipefitter fabrication, pipe welder apprenticeship, process technology, practical nursing, respiratory therapists, sheetmetal apprenticeship, shipfitter fabrication, welding and more.

The unemployment rate in Iberville Parish was 4.8 percent in 2006. The employment rate was 64.4 percent, meaning that 64.4 percent of the population 16 years of age and over were employed at that time. This is above the national employment average of 63 percent.
