PROJECTS:
Establishment of Bayou Plaquemine Waterfront Park – Mayor Gulotta worked tirelessly for some 13 years to obtain some $5 million in federal and state funding to help fund the Waterfront Park and the freshwater pumping system that pumps water from the Mississippi River into the bayou.
Plaquemine Depot Market Project:
Under the Plaquemine Main Street Program, Mayor Gulotta has played a leadership role in the revitalization of the Depot into a unique downtown shopping area.
